Statement

Footfall of the Flower Spring blooms from the contradictions at the heart of Persephone’s myth - grief and growth, captivity and agency, descent and emergence. Built from layered photography over my painting Persephone Takes Root, this collage reimagine’s the goddess’s story through a contemporary lens. It’s a reflection on transformation, resilience, and the enduring power of reclaiming our own narratives.
